INSPECTOR GENERAL ILL∴BRO DAVID R JARVIS, 33° |
The Supreme Council 33° of the Ancient and Accepted Rite for England and Wales and its Districts and Chapters Overseas, has appointed me Inspector General Designate In Charge for Berkshire with effect from 08 December 2019. As you might reasonably imagine, both my promotion to the 33° Degree and Installation as Inspector General are on hold pending the all-clear following the COVID-19 pandemic. I will update this as soon as the dates are known.
A document that explains my background and Masonic journey which have led me here can be viewed here.
I do encourage you to keep a close watch on our website, not only for notice of the Chapter Meetings in the District, but to keep you updated with current news of this wonderful order.
Welcome to the website for the District of Berkshire for the Ancient and Accepted Rite for England and Wales and its Districts and Chapters Overseas. This Order is often called the Rose Croix and it is a Christian Order open to freemasons who have been Master Masons for at least one year.
The District of Berkshire encompasses the old County boundaries with Chapters of the Order meeting at the Berkshire Masonic Centre, Sindlesham between Reading and Wokingham and also at Windsor, Newbury, Abingdon and Wallingford.
Considered by many members to be their favourite Order, the Rose Croix offers friendship with a deep spiritual understanding and encourages a way of life that offers the satisfaction that comes with a sense of responsibility in society.
Qualified Master Masons are urged to consider joining one of the Chapters in the District, where you will be made most welcome.
To non-masons, it is hoped that the site will expand your understanding and help to broaden your knowledge and maybe induce you to become a Freemason. You will not regret it.
We hope that you will enjoy browsing the website and that we will be able to answer any enquiries.
