Windsor Castle Chapter No 252 - Report: 03rd May 2018
On Thursday 3rd May 2018, the Inspector General and the District Recorder attended the meeting held at the Masonic Hall, Church Lane, Windsor. There were some 50 in attendance, including numerous guests. Amongst the guests were:

Raymond Head 32°(HM), Robert Faulkner 32°, Paul Cawte 32°, Bill Rhymes 31°, Ray Reed 30° (PRWPGM of Bucks), John Keeble 30, ( MEGS of Bucks), Anthony Howlett-Bolton OBE, 30° (RWPGM of Berks), Lionel Higgins 30°, Simon Jeffery 30°, Roger Bandfield 30°, Alan Smee 30°, Keith Sollitt 30°, E & P Bros.Alan Skudder 18°, Glynn Jones 18°, John Newman 18°, John Pegler 18°, Bob Britten 18° and Mike Hobbs 18°.
Ill\Bro. Paul Davey 30° proposed the minutes of the meeting held on 1st February 2018, be confirmed as a true record. This was seconded by Ill\Bro. Graham Hutton 30° and carried by the members.
The MWS invested the following Officer who was unavoidably absent at the Enthronement meeting
Steward E & P Bro. Colin Wills 18°.
Bro. Wg.Cdr. Gary Donald Mitchell OBE,, was then Perfected into the Order, in an excellent ceremony, performed by the MWS, E & P Bro. Peter Sands 18°, most ably assisted by Ill\Bro. Paul Davey 30°, Reception to the Intermediate Degrees, Ill\Bro. Steve Talbot 30°, the Intermediate Degrees, Ill\Bro. Graham Hutton 30°, the First Point and Ill\Bro. Derek Stratford 32° the Explanation of the Collar, Signs and Words.
The District Recorder, Ill\Bro. Tony Rees 31°, presented E & P Bro. Revd David Joynes 18°, with his Supreme Council certificate, in his usual excellent manner.
The MWS declared the following for the ensuing year:
E & P Bro. Dr. Neil Coleman 18°, as MWS.
Ill\Bro. Steve Talbot 30°, as Treasurer.
The Almoner presented his report, following which the Alms were collected.
On the Risings, the Recorder delivered an appraisal of all correspondence received since the last meeting. This sadly included notice of the resignation of E & P Bro. Alan Latto 18° (MWS in 2006).
The Third Point was conducted by E & P Bro. Peter Wood 18°, following which the MWS closed the Chapter.
The evening was concluded with yet another excellent meal at the Castle Hotel, enjoyed in the most convivial atmosphere, where the usual Toasts were honoured.
